Four weeks before: |
- Send invitations to all of your single as well as not single friends inviting them to your party
- Start looking for Valentine's Day decorations
Balloons are a great way to decorate the room. Buy a bunch of balloons and put them all over the place. Use red satin sheets and red garland as well. Put cut-out hearts all over the walls.

Three weeks before: |
- Make a list of those who took your invitation so that you know how many people are going to come
- Buy enough plastic plates, cups, forks, spoons, etc. if you don't want to wash the dishes afterwards.
- Buy Valentine's gifts to present to your guests.
- Inform your neighbors that you make the party at home, and invite them if they deserve it.
- Hire a DJ or make up your own CDs (including romantic mood CDs) as music background for your party

- Buy non-perishable food and drinks to your guests' taste as much as possible.
- Empty your fridge and extra space so that have place to store your party food and drinks.
