  • Identity a reason why the task must be updated:
    • Changes in task scope, objectives or constraints;
    • Changes in task resources, supply or inputs;
    • Changes in some essential external conditions;
    • Miscalculations in task estimates and projecting were made;
    • Progress was achieved on the task, hence progress-related task revision is needed;
  • Identify what task settings need to be updated:
    • Constraints (the workflow, budget, timing);
    • Technology and instruments;

    • Distribute the updated baseline documents to the stakeholders;
