  1. Setup.
    • Define project objectives
    • Select and approve an implementation approach (how to reach project objectives)
    • Estimate time required to reach project objectives
    • Develop a project timeline
    • Perform risk analysis to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
    • Identify and measure the project’s impact to other projects running in parallel

    • Receive, review and approve/reject changes occurring during the process
    • Manage communications to ensure the team is enabled to share and access necessary information
    • Organize status meetings to review the work done, resolve outstanding issues and discuss further course of action
    • Respond to risks and threats in order to ensure project success
    • Confirm that your project reaches success when deliverables are built and objectives are met completely
  4. Close.
    • Perform a meeting to review deliverables status and confirm project completion
    • Request the customer for deliverables review and acceptance
    • Request the sponsor for benefits review and acceptance
    • Approve change to deliverables if the customer requests for some necessary improvements
    • Design detailed guidelines and procedures for implementing the improvement process
    • Identify efficiency opportunity that the project team gains from the improvement process
    • Complete the improvement process to make the project more optimized and to apply necessary changes to deliverables
    • Report on project completion to the customer when the project is done
