Product Quality Checklist:

    • Adequate materials (their proper qualities and amount);

    • Well-planned design, approved via virtual and mock-up modeling;
    • All-round testing applied to the product, including stress testing;
    • Extreme test drives to learn limitations;
    • Testing for compatibility and workability in different environments;
    • Identifying methods of emergency diagnostics;
    • Implementing safety and protective mechanisms;
    • Quality control on every step of manufacturing;
  • Efficiency: any product is designed to be appropriate to its business case, so its worth is defined through measuring its performance against its objectives and expectations laid upon it. Since the quality can be analyzed in terms of efficiency, it can be ensured by the:
    • Calculating coefficient of performance;
    • Breaking down conception of performance into particular aspects;
    • Testing out and benchmarking every aspect separately;
    • Measuring user satisfaction;
    • Taking care of a product’s convenience (minimum of operations needed to reach a goal);
    • Taking care of a product’s ergonomics (making products friendly to user’s body and mind);
    • Composing user manuals to prevent misuse that may reduce efficiency;
