Bathrooms safety

  • Set a slip-resistant rug to the bathtub to avoid slipperiness while taking a bath
  • Set a slip-resistant adhesive carpet or rubber mats on the bathroom floor
  • Set a grab bars on the walls of the bathroom, shower cubicle and toilet
  • Control the floor of the bathroom, shower cubicle and toilet to be dry
  • Set a raised toilet seat
  • Control your children staying in the bathroom
  • Turn off all electrical appliances
  • Avoid turning on any electrical appliances nearby water sources
  • Check the lighting to work properly
  • Install a liquid soap dispenser on the bathroom and shower cubicle walls
  • Set your hot water thermostat to keep the temperature not more than 125 Fahrenheit degrees

Kitchen safety

Stairs and steps safety

  • Check the lighting to be easily reached at once in a dark
  • Check the lighting to light up each step
  • Check each step to be in a working order
  • Check the hand-rail to be in a working order
  • Clean the clutter
  • Install motion detector lights
  • Dry the steps if something was spilled
  • Check the stairs to be antiskid
