  TESTIMONIALS
"...This is an excellent program. I'm so glad that I stumbled on to this when researching for task management programs. Very low learning curv, quite flexible, and the price is right. Tried at least 20 other programs, either too complicated, too expensive, or poor documentation..."

 Tickets.

  • Consider purchasing your tickets online, by phone or at a travel agency 2-3 month before your target date
  • Check airline requirements when you book your flight
  • If you purchase e-tickets, be ready to provide a reservation number or credit card at the airport check-in
  • Always keep your tickets and photo ID handy
  • Have a copy of your tickets and photo ID with you at the security gate at the airport
  • Remember to re-confirm your tickets before you fly away
  • Use your airline’s website to check any changes occurred in air flights

 Identity Documents and Visa.

  • Be sure that both your passport and driver’s license are valid
  • Access your airline’s website to check ID and visa requirements for international air travelers
  • If you travel inside your country, find out passport requirements for domestic flights
  • Consider contacting your embassy in the receiving country to confirm ID and visa requirements and discuss any issues that may arise
  • Find out what identity document (passport, driver’s license or both) is required for booking international airplane tickets and crossing the border
  • Be sure your visa is valid
  • If you don’t have visa, submit your application early as it can take weeks or even months for processing, depending on your flight destination
  • Be ready to send a copy of your passport to the embassy in the receiving country
  • Make copies of all important documents before your departure and store them in a safe place during your journey (e.g. in your locked luggage)
  • Never keep photo copies with your actual passport
  • For extra safety, leave photocopies at home with somebody you can get in touch with in case of emergency

Money.

  • Consider spreading your funds across several credit cards
  • Also consider using travelers’ checks as the safest way to carry money
  • Keep enough local currency in your pocket to pay for taxi from the airport, meals and other services that you may need to use during the first hours of your arrival
  • Remember to exchange your cash into the currency of the receiving country beforehand
  • Learn several places of ATM machines near your residence in the receiving country
  • Learn the nearest locations of international banks in the receiving country (they’ll be helpful in cases ATM machines fail to work)
  • If you use travelers’ checks, remember to keep your receipts separate from your checks
  • Be sure you have paid for and confirmed your hotel reservation in advance, before your leave
  • Use money belts as they are terrific for holding the bulk of your cash

Insurance.

  • Check what insurance coverage you have and find out whether insurance of air flights is included
  • Check with your credit card company to see what’s covered during air flight travels
  • Find out if overseas medical coverage is available
  • Learn if personal property and transportation expenses are covered
  • Check with your current insurance provider what’s covered out of local and overseas travels
  • Purchase all necessary insurance packages before your fly away

Immunization and Medication.

  • Find out immunization requirements
  • Check what immunizations are necessary prior to travel
  • Keep a documented proof of immunization with you when entering the receiving country
  • Start anti-malarial immunization 2-3 weeks in advance (if required)
  • Talk with your doctor about necessary immunization
  • Find out what medications you need to take with you
  • Always keep your medications handy

 Packing.

  • Take a look at your bags and be sure they are durable and handy
  • Make a list of items you’re going to take with you
  • Determine what items to pack first
  • Remember to keep your essentials handy in your bags
  • Start packing your belongings by following your packing plan
  • Always pack food, tickets, documents, change of clothes, medications, etc. in your hand luggage
