Views: 782Topic:: «% Completed Drop Down» on forum: Feature Requests (VIP To Do List Line)

It would be very handy to be able to change the % complete for an item from the toolbar -- perhaps in a drop down box -- rather than having to open the task and change it there. This would then work like the CHANGE CATEGORY drop down toolbar item.

Dear Brooks Jensen,

Thank you for your suggestion! We'll discuss the possibility of adding your suggestion to our feature request list.

Could you tell me please if you want to have the possibility of changing the % complete directly from the task list or by the right click on the task to change the completion process from context menu?
#3
Ideally, from a drop down on the toolbar, but equally functional would be a right-click on the task with a drop down in the context menu. Why not both?

Dear Brooks,

Developing a drop down window on the toolbar is very hard to implement. As for right click on the task to change the completion percent from context menu, there are two possible variants that can be developed:

The first one is a "change completion" option with drop down menu with the percents of completion (for example: 5%, !0%, !5% 20% etc.).
The second one is "increase to 10%" option.

Which variant do you like more?

I would think that your first idea is better. That way if I want to change, say, from 10% to 80% I can do so in one leap rather than have to do the "increase" option 7 times.
Thanks for asking!

Ok. I have added the first variant to our feature request list. It will be developed and added to our product in one of the next updates.

By the way, did you receive my letter with a comparison chart of features in Excel format?

Your opinion about VIP Task Manager will be appreciated.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Received. Thanks. Haven't had a chance to evaluate, but I will in the next couple of week.
