Calendar - bring it back to the Task View

I've been using VIP Organizer/Team To Do for almost 2 years now and I really love it. One thing, though, that I wish you would bring back is the calendar that used to be displayed in the filter area.

The newer filter bar, while being an improvement over the old way of filtering, is completely missing the calendar. When I want to see if I have something on a particular day of the week, I need to bring up the calendar from the "Due Date" section inside a task. I'd like to have the calendar right there on the filters bar (or somewhere) so it's in plain view - that way I can see what days of the week each of my tasks are due.

Thanks and keep up the great work.

Misha,

Thank you for using our products for 2 years.

I added your request to the list, so when product manager plans the updates he considered it for possible including.

Thank you again.

Hello

I would also appreciate a permenent on-screen calendar from which I would be able to go to a particular date on the task list.

I would also appreciate a better "visualization of dates" (while grouping by date) in particular:

1) Highlighting the today bar in a different color (or writing "today" on the bar)
2) Writing weekday names after the dates on the group bars
3) Showing Saturdays and Sundays in a different way than workdays

These are "small" features but they would make navigation easier.

All the best,
Grzegorz

Dear Grzegorz,

Thank you for suggestions.

If I got it right, "Writing weekday names after the dates on the group bars" is posssible. You need to:
1. Go to Control Panel
2. Select Regional and Language Options
3. On TAB Regional Options click on Customize button
4. On TAB Date add 'dddd' to Short Date Format field

Thanks !

Works !

Grzegorz
