If you open the database and don’t see the tasks which are supposed to be there or you add a new task and it does not show up in the task list, most likely tasks are hidden by filter settings:
1) Filters can be set by task fields in Filters Bar.

To disable filters on Filters Bar panel click on “Clear Filter” button

If Filters Bar is not displayed please go to View/Panels and check "Filters bar"

2) Filters can be set by task category in Categories Bar.

To disable filter by Category, double click on the Category with tasks name in bold

If Categories Bar is not displayed please go to View/Panels and check "Categories Bar"
