- Check if you really want to be a student.
Is your education a priority right now?
- Check if the school's reputation meet your requirements.
- Consider your choices of where to live.
At home, in a nearby apartment, in dormitories on campus, in campus apartments
- Check if financial aid is available.
Will the school let you pay your tuition and fees with the financial aid?
- Check if scholarships are available at the school.
- Find out what is the time period for getting a degree (or certificate)
- Consider how much your college experience will cost.
- Start researching individual schools and see if they meet your requirements.
- Narrow your list down to five, visit the campuses and talk to students.
